What is the gap between rows on the M-Series pigtail (bus wire)?

The gap is .043 row to row less pin diameter .020 = .023

What is the part number I use for an interfacial seal for my M-Series receptacle?

00-000-009-000-0000-900
00-000-015-000-0000-900

N-Series

What size wire(s) will the N-Series connector (0.025”/.635mm) accept?

The N-Series or Nano connector system is designed to be used with 30AWG and 32AWG wire.

Is the N-Series connector (0.025”/.635mm) hardware removable?

Due to the extremely small size of the connector system, both jackscrew and threaded insert hardware is factory installed and not designed for field removal or replacement.

What N-Series connector (0.025”/.635mm) wire options are available?

The options are wide open as long as the individual wire or cable conductors are 30AWG or 32AWG. Whether you need a single connector with flying leads or complete multi-connector harness assembly, AirBorn can provide a wide array of options for each individual requirement. Contact us about your specific requirement. Read more about the Nano connector standard wire type, size, etc.

Can I custom wire the N-series connector (0.025”/.635mm) myself?

This is not something we recommend or provide. The size of the connector system and the precision of the components and their placement dictate the connectors be factory assembled. It is for this reason AirBorn does not offer Nano components for individual sale.

What are the shielding options for the Nano connector?

Several options to help with EMI protection. Whether the application requires individual shielded conductors, multi-conductor shielded cables or simply an overall braided shield bundle, AirBorn can ground the shields to contacts, the metal shell itself or incorporate the use of our Nano EMI backshells. Please contact us about your specific requirements.

What is the torque value for turning hardware (mated condition) for the N-Series (0.025”/.635mm) connectors?

Answer Missing

What is the torque value for turning hardware (mated condition) for the R-Series (0.075”/1.905mm) connectors?

#1-72 = 1.0 to 1.5 inch-pounds
#2-56 = 2.0 to 2.5 inch-pounds
#4-40 = 3.5 to 4.0 inch-pounds
#6-32 = 4.0 to 4.5 inch-pounds

What R-Series connectors would be used in blind mating applications?

We suggest using the RM412 and the RM422 connectors.
