by Patrick Tolbert | Apr 12, 2021

Taunton, Mass.  (4/12/2021) – AirBorn, a local electronics manufacturer, is seeking 50 new team members to support its expanded manufacturing operations in Taunton. The positions range from entry-level assemblers to experienced circuit board soldering specialists.

“We really have something for everyone at AirBorn,” explained director of operations Mark Zayac, “If you’re J-STD soldering trained and certified or if you’re looking to start a career in electronics manufacturing and want to take advantage of paid training, we have openings for you to join our team and become an employee owner.”

AirBorn is holding a hiring fair from 11 – 3 on Saturday, April 17 at its facility at 355 Constitution Dr. in Taunton. Masks and social distancing are required for everyone’s safety.

All available positions will be located at the company’s Taunton, Mass. facility.  AirBorn offers paid training, competitive pay, and benefits. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and meet eligibility requirements. Job seekers can also apply online at

The Taunton facility features an upgraded manufacturing work environment with quiet, seated workstations compared to traditional manufacturing facilities.

“When people think manufacturing, they think of un-air conditioned factories with lots of noise, but at AirBorn it’s really quite different,” explained talent acquisition specialist Kyle Kleinedler.

The employee-owned company provides paid training in advanced electronics manufacturing skills and offers a suite of benefits that come with being an employee owner.

After a year of service, AirBorn employees become employee owners and begin participating in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan – a type of profit sharing in which the employees own shares of the company. Upon retirement, employees sell their shares of ownership adding to their retirement income.

AirBorn manufactures electronic components used by defense, space exploration, commercial aerospace, medical, and industrial companies. Products built in Taunton help save lives, support our troops, and explore planets far beyond our own.
